Letter to William Bailey, Horseley Fields Chemical Works, Wolverhampton, from Thomas Sutton, dated Redan, 15 Dec. 1872; also, letter to Messrs. William Bailey & Son, Horseley Field Chemical Works, Wolverhampton, from G.W. Perry, Melbourne, 1 Feb. 1869. This letter concerns the use of sulphite of lime in the preservation of meat in Australia. Affixed is a newspaper advertisement of F. Skinner & Co., 149 Collins Street, for a meat-preserving fluid.
